Skin Suit, 2022
Ceramic, screenprint, chalk, textile
An exploration of transness and horror, in that a lot of trans people find horror comforting, and yet the genre is not kind to us.

Untitled, 2022
Screenprint, Textile
A piece born out of frustration with the amount of anti-trans legislature being introduced. I referenced an Icon of Jesus and Mary for the imagery. The text in the background is the 7 clobber versus used against LGBT people overlaid with the headlines of recently introduced legislation.

Behold, a Man, 2021
CMYK photo emulsion screenprint
This image was generated by inputing a sketch of mine (depicting the same crow-man from "Gilded Cage") into an AI that generates faces. This image is meant to replicate the feeling that human contact is irreplacable, since no matter how hard it tries, the AI cannot generate a human face, much like technology cannot substitute for contact.

Encounter, 2021
Reduction screen print
A figure which recurrs in some of my animation work, the figure came to me in a dream, and has been used as a stand in for my identity in this and a few other works.

Gilded Cage, 2021
Drawing fluid and reduction screenprint
The figure in the cage is meant to be a visual representation of my anxieties around covid, with the head being a morph of a plage doctor mask and a skull. The image overall is meant to invoke other images of circus animals wasting away in cages.
